Best Jobsite Noise Cancelling Earbuds vs. Bluetooth Earplugs: What Really Protects Your Hearing?

I read several bad reviews on these but I have had zero problems with them. It's nice being able to listen to things while I'm working, and no one seems to know the difference between these and the disposable plugs! I'd say they are worth the money. Sounds quality is as good as some name brand earbuds I've used. Just make sure the speaker is well inserted in the earplug body and they're great.

I bought this on July 24 it's September 18th. They don't work no more. Great when they work. Good enough I'm buying another but they don't last long.

Bought for motorcycle use. Its only been a few weeks. But so far they work great. Alot more bass then i expected. My only minor complaint is the wire connecting them together is rather long. The battery is good. They are comfortable. They fit under my full face helmet, without popping out of my ears when i put helmet on. The wind and engine noise are muted like traditional earplugs. The sound is loud and pretty darn good.

These are perfect for yard work. Totally block out the motor noise and stay in your ears comfortably. The sound is pretty good but does distort at higher volumes but they stay put all day. All the other Bluetooth earbuds I have tried are frustrating because I have to stop and put them back in my ear or, they don't block the ambient noise. They are a little pricey but the battery will last all day. They will also drowned out the annoying coworker that won't stop talking.

Honestly I like it, it's strictly focus for work, volume is limited for a reason. If I want it louder, I have other ones I would use. It blocks noise like 80% which is good for me at work. These ones sounded like a record player, which is more clearer than digital player. It's more defined, enough Highs, mids are pretty clear, bass is enough for work. No trouble on pairing, battery is pretty good so far, I did 2x10 hours shift before I get the low battery warning. Ive shortened or coiled the cord to my needs by tapping the excess wires. It doesn't get in my way. Will update when battery performance decreased. At first youll feel pressure in the external auditory canal, but ill forget its in there when busy with work, It does get slippery inside the ears after a while but it doesn't fall out, I had to take it out slowly or it will give that pop noise, which would be bad if it's daily, slowly works better. Still doing more research to understand it better for me. I just think of it as if it was a torque ranch with 200lbs strength, can't use it on a 10lbs nut, it would snap it. Strictly for work. I don't know why these sounded better than the Freereign ones, it more clear, but overall both is good for me at work. Since I have 2, battery isn't daily concern....yet. will update later.

The dislike is the cord didn't last long

Love the headphones wished the battery life was more . Usually have to recharge during my 10 in half shift.

Only plugs I've found that I can wear inside my motorcycle helmet without hurting my ears or spending hundreds for custom plugs.

I bought these headphones to wear beneath my helmet while motorcycling. If you, like me, don't want or can't afford to spend hundreds on a Cardo or Sena unit for your helmet, this is an excellent budget alternative. The audio quality is surprisingly clear, with both treble and bass coming through very distinctly. The earplugs function excellently to filter wind noise, without interfering unduly with ability to maintain situational awareness (hearing horns, sirens, etc). They're quite comfortable, even beneath a helmet, for over an hour at a time. I have found that after about an hour and a half of riding, my ears begin to get a little sore from the pressure, but this is the case with every pair of Bluetooth earbuds I've ever worn. The only downside that I have identified with the product is the fact that when on the road, the very small control buttons are nearly impossible to use while riding, especially if you tuck the body of the headphones into your shirt/jacket. My remedy for this issue was initially to mount my phone to my handlebars, and switch songs or change volume by hand. However, I eventually settled on using a Bluetooth controller (JBL Click) for fully remote, one handed control of the phone, and by extension, the headphones. This solution cost me a total of about $80 for the JBL Click unit and the headphones themselves.

They last me all day at work even in the heat they have a nice bass they cancel out sounds extremely well they charge fast I wish it was a c type charger tho

The sound quality is much better than I anticipated. Also, I was afraid that these wouldn’t stay in well since I have very small ear holes, but these stay put wonderfully!

I never liked headphones before. My ear holes were too small or something. These are such a blessing for work, as I'm running errands, or even while I garden! I get to create my own little vibe without encroaching on anyone else's ears lol. Gratzy

I bought these specifically for the in-line media controller as an upgrade for my last set of Plugfones. They keep your ears from hurting after riding the lawnmower for a few hours, yet you can still listen to your music at a reasonable volume. (Standard in-ear headphones you'd need to have the music loud enough to damage hearing to muffle out the exhaust noise.) My only complaint would be the placement of the buttons. They are close to the plug end of the wire rather than up near the microphone like other headsets I've had. Also, I believe the buttons should be spaced out a bit for my application. Trying to use them while wearing gloves, you'll bump an adjacent button more than once. There's a minus (volume down), a plus (volume up), and a circle. The circle, press once for play/pause. Press twice in succession for next track. Press three times in succession to repeat current track. (Or three times, and then immediately again three times to go to previous track.) Trying to double-tap for next song while bouncing down the lawn, I usually nudge volume up or down at least once.

I got these for work because they don’t allow headphones but they do allow ear plugs. These are absolutely perfect and way better then expected 👍

The best $50 ever spent. Works well to use at Amazon. Discreet as can be. Had direct encounters with managers and they didn’t say crap. Get the orange ones for most discreet.

The battery life is good and the cable is long enough to put under the safety helmet. Performance may be differ from which khind of music you listen. For me I love rock and this thing did a pretty amazing job. Only downside is when not listening to music you mught hear some outside noise than normal safety earplug.

I've used these headphones for over 5 years now. I work in a factory and they help save my hearing. I wear them at work, at home (mowing the lawn or using machinery), even on hikes. I use them every day for hours. The battery is great. The sound is great. I mostly listen to books, but sometimes music. I can wear them and have a conversation with people without issues. They come with 2 tip options. I use the silicone ones and I never have any problems with ear aches or headaches. I wear them for 5-8 hours a day, at least 5 days a week. I used to leave them in my car to charge and so I wouldn't forget them, but the heat and cold caused the wire to come apart by the earpiece after like a year. These are so worth the money. I love that they have a cord connecting them so I can take them out of my ear whenever I need to and not have to worry about losing one. Excellent customer service too. Fantastic product.

These are the best ear phones and also pretty great as ear plugs. Many earbuds don't stay in my ears and they're hard and uncomfortable. These are the only ones that really work for me. I can sleep in them too. It's important to clean them with alcohol after using.

Looks like your wearing ear plugs instead of ear buds volume is low but are great for work if you can't wear ear buds. battery life is about 6 hour. A little pricey but does what it says

If i could give this product 6 stars I would. The volume can go so high it HURTS, far louder than any of my other earbuds. They do work as normal ear plugs without music playing. But, MOST IMPORTANTLY, the buttons and battery are far enough down the wire i can easily hide them in my T-shirt! My supervisor can suck a ****!

Awesome product I work in manufacturing and can hear Awesome and still blocks out noise from my job can still hear someone if they need to talk to me do need to have your phone with you because if you get to far away it will break up

These are great at work and no one knew I was using them. One downfall was I can't get orange replacement foam pieces except through the company. I did so but the mail person delivered them at the wrong address somi never received them. I'd rather go through amazon as I know they will get it to me.

Ear buds that are actually ear plugs to block outside noise.

I work in a warehouse and I have to wear safety earplugs. There work perfectly for listening to music Or audio books and podcasts wile bring low key. I even had a full conversation with my supervisor and he didn’t notice .. that’s the best part

This product did as advertised. Works well to subside heavy noises and allow for easy music listening. Used during my time working construction.

They aren't as good as some other earphones, but they have a long battery life.

Work pretty good. Volume is decent. They could throw in a clip but other than that no complaints. Definitely buying again.

My husband has to wear ear plugs at work, we found these and he absolutely LOVES them. Said the quality of the speakers are great, while also being totally noise canceling.

Good product

Silences the sound around you very well so you can hear your tunes. Able to be heard at 160mph on motorcycle.

I’m not sure if I am just to hard on these but the sound on the one side is like a whisper. Plugs are hard to keep in. I just ordered the plugfone that is one step better. Hopefully they will last longer.

I use these as ear plugs for noise reduction and as ear buds. They seal out a lot of noise as well as push the music/voice directly into my hear. Since I suffer hearing loss from years of industrial noise these make it possible to use my SENA Bluetooth headset to communicate with my girlfriend when we ride. BTW, i wear a half-helmet and I purchased an extra pair to have on hand.

Employer doesn’t allow employees to wear headphones these are great for people who need music and need to wear earplugs last about 8 hours. Ordered 2 pair. Kinda hard to clean but other then that absolutely awesome

These are great wired ear buds. Only thing be nice heavier wire to the buds. Good clear sound. Look just like ear plugs.

this is my second plugfones - i use them during the night as i listen to books or watch movies, i have also used when doing yard work. My first set lasted about 8 years
